One Week Sailing Trip Sample Itinerary
Day 1: Fly in to the Terrance B. Lettsome Airport (EIS) on Tortola. Charters typically start at noon, so we suggest arriving in the morning or, better yet, the evening before your charter date. Hop a short taxi ride to your designated pick up spot and meet your professional crew as they escort you to your own private yacht for the week! After settling in and a quick bite to eat, set sail to one of the BVI's most coveted destinations, Peter Island. Enjoy a peaceful evening on the anchor with delicious food and cocktails catered to your unique preferences.
Day 2: Wake up in paradise to the smell of freshly brewed coffee and brunch whipped up by the yacht's culinary trained chef. Enjoy a morning of swimming in crystal clear waters before sailing to The Indians, a world renowned snorkel and scuba destination. After lunch, be sure to check out The Caves at Norman Island, jump off the back of the "Willy T" and visit the Bight for happy hour, dinner, or beach games ashore.
Day 3: Start the day off actively by taking a spin on one of the yacht's many water toys: stand up paddle boards, wakeboards, kayaks, and more! Or, keep it leisurely and enjoy a relaxing sail to Cooper Island. Explore Cooper's many fun offerings, from the rum bar, to the boutique shops, ice cream and full-service restaurant. Dine ashore or enjoy another gourmet meal from the comfort of the yacht.
Day 4: Off to the next beautiful destination! Take a turn at the helm, or let your crew show you the ropes as you set sail for Virgin Gorda. Be sure to explore The Baths, one of the BVI's most exquisite natural hiking and swimming grounds. Cap off the day by cozying up on the bow and stargazing!
Day 5: Virgin Gorda's North Sound boasts many world class destinations within. Spend the day ashore at one of the renowned resorts, from Oil Nut Bay and Saba Rock, to the Bitter End Yacht Club or Leverick Bay. Treat yourself to the resort pools, shopping, on shore dining and all the rest.
Day 6: Wake up to the gentle sound of waves lapping on the hull as you sail north to the BVI's most remote island: Anegada. Spend the day exploring the island from the pristine Cow Wreck Beach, to Loblolly Bay. Rent scooters for the day, or kick back and relax on the yacht. Indulge in freshly caught local lobster and homemade dessert.
Day 7: After a scenic sail past Tortola's north shore, anchor in White Bay, Jost Van Dyke. Jost is well known for its iconic beach bars, including Foxy's and Soggy Dollar. Take a quick detour to Sandy Spit for beach combing, snorkeling, or a quick hike to the Bubbly Pools. After a day full of activity, relax on board with games, or head out to the bars to enjoy some local nightlife.
Day 8: Indulge in the chef's final decadent brunch and get one last snorkel or swim in before sailing back to Tortola. Have the crew coordinate with their driver to ensure your transition back to the airport or on-island accommodations is seamless, and share a final toast to good times and good company. Until next time!
